Caltex Supa Clinics successful

Shakes and the gang have been busy in Malaysia with Caltex Supa Clinics in Petaling Jaya and Kuala Lumpur. Over the past month, Supa Strikas and Caltex have run free training clinics for kids at selected Futsal (indoor soccer) courts around town.

Children underwent basic coaching to sharpen their ‘Supa Skills’, such as dribbling, passing and shooting. The children who successfully completed each clinic received a certificate signed by Shakes and a limited edition Supa Strikas jersey!

KICKOFF TIME WITH CALTEX SUPA CUP CLINICS

Be part of the action by signing up for free soccer clinics!

WHO’S INVITED?
Young sports enthusiasts can team up with Caltex™ and Supa Strikas for free soccer clinics in the Klang Valley. The soccer clinics are open to all children between 7 and 12 years of age.

A spin-off from the annual Caltex Supa Cup Futsal tournament, the Caltex Supa Cup Clinic aims to help children under 12yrs raise their game, by providing a platform to improve soccer skills and boost clean sportsmanship.

WHAT’S ON THE PROGRAMME?
Children will undergo basic coaching to hone their ‘Supa Skills’, such as dribbling, passing and shooting.

Coaches; former international footballer, Shahrin Majid; and sports commentator, Zainal Abidin Rawop, will lead the coaching!

Children who successfully complete each clinic will receive a certificate signed by the Supa Strikas’ hero, Shakes, and a limited edition Supa Strikas jersey!

WHERE AND WHEN?
Soccer clinic sessions will run for three Saturdays, starting on October 23.

Registration is free. Just remember, as spaces are limited to the first 50 kids per session, those interested are encouraged to register directly, and fast, at the clinic venues.

There are 3 venues where you can register. Each venue will hold two sessions per day!

Supa Strikas has won the hearts of millions since 2001, when the first comic was launched in South Africa. Today the comic is available in Africa, Europe and Asia. And Mary Angel Campo from Quezon City, Philippines is one of our biggest fans.

Mary is a regular fan on Supa Strikas’ Facebook Fan Page, and she has drawn different characters the likes of Shakes, Dancing Rasta and North Shaw. Her drawings have got her noticed as one of our number one fans in the Philippines.
